The terms you agree to when you use Nima.

These terms are between you and Yarden Rubinstein, who runs Nima (“we”). By using Nima you agree to them.

What Nima is

Nima is a Windows application that types what you say and reads what you point at. It is a tool, not a person, and it can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you send it.

Your account

You need a Nima account to use dictation or reading. One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; your subscription and your allowance belong to your account, not to your email address or your computer.

You can delete your account at any time from General → Delete account. Deleting cancels any subscription first; Pro ends at that moment, including time already paid for (see cancellations and refunds).

Plans and allowances

Free includes 2,000 words a week and 1 hour of reading a month. Pro includes 60,000 words a week and 3 hours of reading a month. Neither plan is unlimited. Dictation and reading have separate allowances. Both reset on a UTC calendar — dictation each Monday, reading on the first of the month — and neither resets because you were billed.

To keep Free sustainable, it also limits how many dictation sessions can start in an hour and in a day. Addresses that deliver to the same mailbox (for example with a +tag) share one Free allowance, and accounts on disposable email domains are not opened.

Paying

Pro monthly is $15 per month. Pro yearly is $144 per year, paid once. Founding member is $8 per month for the first 200 subscriptions, for as long as you stay subscribed. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and exclude tax; any tax that applies where you live is added at checkout. Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record and shows you the exact total, including tax, before you agree to it.

If a payment fails, your account uses the Free allowances until the payment succeeds. Your subscription and your receipts stay reachable throughout.

What we may do

We may change prices for future terms, with notice before your next renewal. We may suspend an account being used to attack the service or to resell it. We will not read your documents.

What we do not promise

Nima depends on services we do not run. We cannot promise it is always available or always accurate, and we are not liable for what you do with what it writes.
