One app for writing and listening.

Nima combines dictation, on-screen reading and explicitly chosen translation. It works through keyboard shortcuts and a floating pill, without requiring a browser extension or your own AI API key.

The app supports Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. Dictation needs a microphone; dictation, reading and translation need an internet connection and an account. There is no Nima mobile or Mac app in this release.

Clear about what happens to your words.

Nima uses cloud services to recognize speech, translate and generate reading audio. It is not an offline product. Audio and screen-reading content are processed in memory; optional dictation history is kept locally when you enable it.

The privacy page explains the processors, account records and optional features. Support is available at support@mynima.io. Please do not include private transcripts or screenshots when a description of the problem is enough.

A few useful answers.

Is Nima an autonomous computer assistant?

No. The public product is focused on dictation, reading and translation. It does not autonomously send messages or operate other apps for you.

Try it with your
own everyday words.

Free includes 2,000 words a week and 1 hour of reading a month. No card needed.
