A style for the situation.

Clearer aims for easier-to-follow wording. Formal suits a more professional tone. Friendly makes a message more conversational. Shorter tightens it. Off leaves this extra writing pass out.

Choose the style on Nima’s pill. A suggestion is only a suggestion: it does not silently choose a style for you.

  • Clearer: make the thought easier to follow
  • Formal: use a more professional tone
  • Friendly: make the message more conversational
  • Shorter: use fewer words

Keep a way back to your words.

After a polished insertion, Get original is offered briefly. Nima checks that the field is still safe before restoring the original wording. If the target has changed, it will not blindly overwrite it.

Polish checks protected details such as numbers and links, but those checks cannot guarantee perfect preservation of meaning. Review the result before using it.

Polish when you want it.

Polish runs after the dictation is assembled, and after translation if you chose another language. It adds a processing step and requires Pro.

If polishing fails or the result does not pass Nima’s checks, the unpolished passage remains the fallback. Speech cleanup and layout are separate controls.

A few useful answers.

Can Polish rewrite an existing document?

This workflow polishes a dictation you just made. It is not an editor for arbitrary existing documents.

Is Polish in the current installer?

Yes. Polish is in Nima 0.2.4 and requires Pro. Choose a style while dictating.
