Demonstration

Choose a step or play the example. Illustrative text; no recording or AI calls.

Choose where your words are going.

Start dictation in a writing field. Open Translate on the pill and choose the language you want to write. Nima applies that target to the whole dictation, including words you spoke before choosing it.

You can change the target while working. Nima translates from the original speech text, rather than repeatedly translating an earlier translation. Finish when the passage is ready.

For the conversations you already have.

Draft a reply to an international colleague, write a message to family, or explain an idea in a language you use less often. The writing stays in the app where the conversation is happening.

The demonstration lets you choose an example language. Your location does not restrict the languages you can use. The language directory lists the app’s supported entries.

A translation still deserves a read.

Check names, dates, tone and specialist terminology before sending. Recognition and translation can make mistakes, and support does not imply identical accuracy across languages.

This feature translates your dictation. It does not listen to phone calls, interpret meetings between speakers or translate everything on your computer automatically.

A few useful answers.

Can I translate text that Nima reads aloud?

Yes, through the separate reader translation feature. Choose a reading, then select its target language.

Is the original language the same as the keyboard language?

The keyboard layout helps select the dictation language. The translation target is a separate setting, chosen in the pill. Set the dictation language to suit what you are speaking.
