Give your keyboarda little time off.
To type with your voice on Windows, place the cursor in a writing field and start a dictation tool. Windows has a built-in option; Nima adds its own preview, finish and translation workflow.

Start with Windows voice typing.
Click a text box and press Windows + H. Microsoft’s voice typing documentation describes the microphone and connection requirements for your Windows version. This is a useful starting point if basic voice typing is all you need.
Try Nima’s preview-and-finish flow.
Install Nima, sign in and select a microphone. Open a disposable writing field, place the cursor, and tap Right Ctrl. Speak a short sentence. The preview appears above Nima’s pill while the field waits.
Tap Right Ctrl again or choose Finish. Review the inserted result. Next, try a personal vocabulary word or a translation target. Escape cancels an attempt without inserting it.
Choose by workflow, not a universal ranking.
Nima may suit you if you want a floating preview before insertion, dictation translation and on-screen reading in one app. It requires internet access and a Nima account, and Free has usage allowances.
If your priority is controlling Windows entirely by voice or working offline, investigate Windows voice access and its supported requirements. Nima is not a voice-control replacement. No accuracy or speed comparison is claimed here.
When nothing appears.
Check the selected microphone and Windows microphone access. Make sure the cursor is in an editable, non-password field and the language matches your speech. Keep the original field active until you finish.
If Nima cannot confirm the destination, use Copy from its notice. Try a plain writing field to distinguish a microphone problem from a particular editor’s limitations.
